My Ted talk:



1. Obligatory, topic-specific words:
cardiovascular (adj) /ˌkɑːdɪəʊˈvæskjʊlə/ -
Relating to the heart.
  • Eating to much fat products can lead to cardiovascular diseases.  
  • Many people suffer from cardiovascular diseases because they do are coach potatoes. 
impromptu (adj) /ɪmˈprɒmptjuː/ - unrehearsed, improvised, spontaneous
Done without being planned.
  • I was forced to give an impromptu speech during the meeting.
  • Impromptu actions are the ones which you will remember forever.
unbeknownst (adj) /ˌʌnbɪˈnəʊnst/ - unnamed, unknown
Without the knowledge of someone.
  • Unbeknownst to me, she planned a party!
  • I just hate birthdays; it's always the same story: my friends make something unbeknownst to me so that it annoys me pretty much.
harass (v) - tease, hassle, attack
To bother someone in uncomfortable way, making someone frightened or scared.
  • She made me feel of being harassed all the time during her event. 
  • To harass someone means you break the law and probably go to jail.
anxiety (n) /æŋˈzaɪəti/ - doubt, stress, panic
The feeling of being not certain and afraid.
  • There are many technics focusing on alleviating the anxiety levels.
  • What makes me feel anxiety is her attitude towards my homeworks.

fine-tune - calibrate, make small adjustments
to crave - fancy, desire intensely, 
enhance - enlarge, increase
inevitable  - unavoidable, impending
profound - thoughtful, deep
